The signing ceremony took place today in Tetouan, in the presence of Mr. Fouzi Lekjaa (President of the FRMF) and Mr. Mostafa Terrab (Chairman and CEO of OCP Group).
In line with the Royal Directives regarding football, advocating for “efficient and transparent governance, and investment in both infrastructure and human capital”, this partnership aims to jointly contribute to the national effort for football development and promote excellence in the field. It is based on pooling the skills and resources of the partners to strengthen and improve the capabilities of training centers across the Kingdom by equipping them with modern infrastructure, efficient facility management and advanced technical expertise.
A Joint Commitment to the Development of Football in Morocco
The National Training Fund is based on a business model focused on training high-level players and integrating them into professional clubs, ensuring the sustainability of the project and the achievement of the set objectives. Its management will be entrusted to a specialized entity under the technical supervision of the National Technical Directorate of the FRMF.
The Fund will be used to finance the operational management of the training centers.
The project aims to create a new model of training and operational excellence in the development of the football sector, offering young players high-level integrated support, thus fostering their growth in a professional environment. The training centers will also contribute to strengthening social inclusion, cohesion, and the well-being of young people, while promoting the development and valorization of youth and sports in Morocco.
