OCP is fully aware of the environmental and sustainability issues inherent to its mission. Therfore, OCP Group has always placed sustainable development at the heart of its strategy and has equipped itself with the means to enable it to act effectively and deploy these commitments at all levels. Based on a logic of continuous improvement, the Group's sustainable development policy is translated into ambitious constantly evolving objectives to support growth and transform constraints into opportunities. OCP is also on the lookout for the latest practices and new concepts for responsible development, generating skills, good living conditions and community well-being. More than ever, The Group is anchoring its commitments to sustainability and revising its ambitions upwards.

Circular economy
To meet its needs, humanity today consumes 1.8 times the resources that the planet can renew in a year and this ecological debt will double as a result of population and economic growth. The challenge for OCP is therefore to meet these growing consumption needs in order to guarantee food security while using a minimum of resources.
Human Capital and communities
True to its fundamental values of responsibility and exemplarity, OCP Group places the Human as a key pillar of its strategy. The group’s employees and community are an integrated part of its identity. Sustainable Governance
Improving governance as a management tool continues to be a long-term priority at OCP Group. It requires strengthening procedures, rules, and organizational structures that will ultimately ensure greater transparency across the company's operations. OCP Group aims to go beyond regulatory compliance and develop an approach to governance that reflects the company's guiding principles, vision and ambitions. Governance is based on values that underlie all company actions: integrity, ethics, and transparency.
Sustainable agriculture
OCP Group works daily to improve soil fertility and help farmers increase their yields. A balance between better crop yields and social and environmental objectives is now a prerequisite for a lasting response to global food demand.
A sustainability strategy around 17 SDGs
OCP Group started its sustainability journey many years before the 2015 announcement of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Yet, OCP chose to reassess its sustainable strategy to set clear targets and contribute as much as we can to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As a major actor in Morocco, home to 70% of the world’s phosphate reserves, OCP ’s mission is to feed the soil to feed the planet. It is only if we work sustainably across our entire value chain, that we will be able to hold on to this promise on the long run.
