Al Moutmir completes the first phase of the initiative
As the end step of the first phase of the Al Moutmir Li Khadamat Al Qorb (loosely translated to “Fruitful Proximity Services”) initiative approaches, OCP agronomists have started training sessions for farmers in the regions of Marrakech, Khenifra, Safi, Sidi Bennour, Settat, Berkane and Larache.
The Al Moutmir Li Khadamat Al Qorb initiative is about to close its first phase dedicated to cereal crops. This last stretch led the teams in charge of the initiative to different locations in Sidi Kacem where, for three days, meetings were organized with more than 400 farmers. It was an opportunity for the farmers to exchange closely with the experts mobilized for this purpose.
The pool of Agronomists also began training sessions at the different provinces covered by the initiative. Some 1,000 farmers have benefited from this training cycle, which promotes the sharing of agricultural best practices for cereals and pulses. This was the opportunity for agronomists to answer the different questions of fellahs (local name for farmers) related to the current stage of their crops, namely sowing.
