UM6P researchers take action against COVID-19
New volunteers are joining the fight against the pandemic of coronavirus, following the actions and measures launched by the OCP Group to stop its spread. These are multidisciplinary research teams from the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P).
This new initiative was born out of the collaboration between the Social Innovation Lab - UM6P and the OCP Foundation. The goal is to document and analyze the initiatives launched as part of the management of the health crisis. A call for projects launched on April 16 among researchers specifies that the main objective is to conduct action research on several social themes of interest to the Group and the country.
The Social Innovation Lab - UM6P call for projects concerns 8 research areas: Education, National Solidarity, Social and Solidarity Economy, Health, Social data, Africa, Territorial watch and performance and Virtual working environment. These areas include 17 themes to be deepened by multidisciplinary teams made up of UM6P researchers and experts from the OCP ecosystem.
Thus, the selected teams will be able to benefit from the financial support of the OCP Foundation, in the form of Seed fund research, in order to open up to other partners of the UM6P to enrich the approaches and their deliverables.
Recall that the Social Innovation Lab aims to convey, disseminate and promote social innovation at national and African level. Its objective is also to support populations and private or public organizations in the reflection and development of their social projects.
